Introduction

Coffeebean Identity and Access Platform sends email notifications to your end-users for some actions:

  • Email Confirmation
  • Reset Password
  • Signup Email

We provide a full set of default templates for these actions, but you can also customize your own templates for each of one them.

Add a Template

  1. In Admin Console, go to Email Templates.
  2. Click at the target email type.
  3. At "Add new template" select the language of the new template.
  4. Edit the template and then click Save.

Edit a Template

  1. In Admin Console, go to Email Templates.
  2. Click at the target email type.
  3. Find the template and click on "Edit".
  4. Edit the template and then click Save.

HTML Editor

The HTML Editor is a code editor with a live preview. The editor can be customized at "Editor Theme", selecting your favorite theme, and be used on Full-Screen mode.

If you want to reset to the Coffeebean default template, you have the option to click at "Reset to Default Template".

Email Sending Order

To send the email we use the following preference order:

  • Customised template for the given language
  • Customised template for account system language
  • Default template for account system Language

So, given a request for an Italian Email Confirmation: we first look if you already have created an Italian Email Confirmation template, if not, we search if an Email Confirmation template with the account preferred system language exists. If no custom email is found for none of these cases, we will send the email using our default template for the account system language.
